What is guaranteed within our retained search & selection process?

Caerusa Consulting runs an extremely fast and efficient Search and Selection process, working closely with clients to deliver within a standard six-week timeframe.

Pre-Search

A Director from Caerusa Consulting will meet with the relevant recruiting manager within your business and assist with understanding his requirements and writing a full job brief. From this meeting your dedicated Client Relationship Director will research the marketplace and produce a full job specification based on the criteria discussed at the meeting & the research that he or she has conducted. This will then be signed off by the hiring manager to ensure that the Caerusa Consulting team fully understand the requirement.

Following sign off, Caerusa Consulting will deliver a shortlist within 6 weeks of commencement.

On commencement of every search, the hiring manager will be provided with a delivery plan. This will outline the timings of the search process and the deadlines to which Caerusa Consulting will work.

Weeks 1 & 2 – Search

Within the first 2 weeks Caerusa Consulting will provide the hiring manager and HR with a target long list. Caerusa Consulting’s experienced search team & extensive industry network will build this long list. This combined with their proactive research skills and advanced Social Media Recruitment strategies, guarantee access to a passive and often hidden talent pool.

Caerusa Consulting undertakes each and every search as a unique assignment, creating a long list that has genuinely been researched as opposed to a sample of companies and individuals from a database, thus ensuring that every client receives a full search and selection process.

Each long list will contain in excess of 100 names, companies, job titles and locations that Caerusa Consulting will be targeting during the assignment. Caerusa Consulting will expect this list to be examined and reviewed by the hiring manager. This is key to ensuring that the search is progressing along the right lines.

Weeks 3 & 4 Approach

Our research team typically approaches in excess of 100 people per assignment. Our experienced specialists will take time to approach candidates on our client’s behalf, selling the potential opportunities to targeted individuals in a professional manner.

Caerusa Consulting will not disclose our clients name until we are satisfied that a candidate has demonstrated their potential interest and a comprehensive CV has been received.

Weeks 5 & 6 Selection

Every candidate will be put through a rigorous interview process. Following the initial approach, and on receipt of a CV, every potential candidate will undergo a detailed interview conducted by a member of Caerusa Consulting’s research team.

The most relevant candidates will be referred to your Client Relationship Director who will personally rigorously interview against your selection criteria. Dependant on timescales and global locations, Caerusa Consulting will endeavour to ensure that every candidate is met face to face.

During Caerusa Consulting’s interview process every candidate will not only be challenged on their skills and experience, but also their commitment to potentially move to our client.

Delivery

On completion of each search process our client will receive the following:

  • A shortlist of between 3-5 qualified CVs.
  • A full summary of the candidate’s skills and experience and relevance to the role will accompany each CV. This will include a full candidate profile, full current package details (including expectations to move) and a breakdown of their career aspiration/motivations.
  • A copy of the full completed long-list.
  • Psychometric Evaluation report if required. (Additional costs may apply)

At this point Caerusa Consulting will arrange all your required interviews and work with you to identify the successful candidate & secure them for your organisation.
