Worked in Technology Recruitment since?

The mid 90’s, it’s all I have ever done!! No really on leaving education I was fortunate enough to join one of the UK’s leading technology recruitment companies where I learnt my trade recruiting Cobol Developers for VAX/VMS (Now I’m showing my age) and quickly moved into a leadership role.

Why form Caerusa Consulting?

The realisation that too many recruitment companies were now nothing more than glorified telesales offices employing inexperienced graduates with little or no technical knowledge. I wanted to offer something different and bring consultancy back to the recruitment industry.

Caerusa??? Where does the name come from?

Good question! Caerus was a greek god, the son of Zeus & the personification of opportunity, luck and favorable moments. I like to think we live up to the name. Thank you to my good friend Adrian Britton for helping me come up such an interesting name.

Oh this one is easy, a Cat. Let’s face who wouldn’t want to be a cat, my two get spoilt rotten!!!!

Your greatest achievement in Life

I certainly never seem to take the easy or relaxing options in life. Probably climbing Everest and the Annapurna ridge in the Himalayas. This was really tough and certainly gave me a different perspective on life… btw that’s my mum in the pic with me, equally crazy and I know where I get in from…

Outside of work…

Travelling to far away places, Great food and of course my two pussy cats Tiley & Sue.
